"On Thursday, June 27, 1985, 63 of Hollywood's 'kids' joined together to record a song for the United States Committee for UNICEF
to benefit the children of Africa."
In 1984 and 1985, a period of famine in Ethiopia and Eritrea inspired two notable musical benefit projects: in the UK, Band Aid recorded "Do They Know It's Christmas?" on November 25, 1984; and in the USA, USA for Africa recorded "We Are the World" finishing on January 28, 1985. "Kidds for Kids in Africa" carried on this work, but with a special twist. Young entertainers, mainly actors instead of musicians, came together to record their song "Love's Gonna Find a Way" (written by Shuki Levy and Deborah Shelton) to specifically benefit the children of Africa via the U.S. Committee for UNICEF.
A video of the Kidds for Kids in Africa song "Love's Gonna Find a Way" was kindly provided by Steve Alterman himself.

This is a list of the actors and entertainers who participated in Kidds for Kids in Africa, followed by works they were known for
around the time of the song. Although the video says there were 63 participating "kids," there are more than that named in the credits at the end.
